There comes a time

There comes a time in everyone's life
The truth must be faced
How you face it
Depends on how you perceive it
My truth isn't easy to face
But face it I must.
I am what I am
That which I always professed not to be
Yet That's who I am
And it hurts to know the truth
It is painful to know I am not what I said
Even if it is only a brief moment in time
I am nothing of what I said I am. 
Take your time it will come.
